LIMITED WARRANTY

1. Intentional Damage: Any signs of deliberate damage, such as cutting, burning, scratching, gouging, or chipping of finishes or other forms of misuse will not be covered. Determination of intentional damage will be at the sole discretion of Masterpiece Cabinetry and Millwork.
2. Natural Characteristics: Natural aging, darkening of wood, variations in colour or grain, and normal wear are not considered defects. Over time, gaps may develop in joints due to temperature and humidity changes. These occurrences are considered part of the normal aging process and are not covered.
3. Environmental Impact: Changes in wood appearance due to environmental factors such as sunlight, smoke, or household cleaners may affect the color match over time. While efforts will be made to match the appearance of any repair or replacement, an exact color match cannot be guaranteed.
4. Finish Warranty: The warranty for finishes (painted or varnish) is limited. Small cracks, chips, or joint separations due to natural expansion and contraction from humidity changes are not considered defects and are not covered.
5. Warping and Twisting: There is no warranty coverage for warping or twisting on solid wood products over 24 inches in width or 48 inches in height/length, including panels, doors, and coversheets.
6. Cabinet Hardware: The limited five (5) year warranty on cabinet hardware covers defects in material and workmanship but is subject to proper use and maintenance as specified. It does not cover wear from normal usage or damage caused by misuse, abuse, or improper installation.
7. Voiding of Warranty: This warranty is void if products are modified, improperly installed, or damaged prior to or during installation (if not installed by Masterpiece Cabinetry and Millwork). It also does not cover damages resulting from improper storage, misuse, exposure to moisture, extreme temperatures, significant humidity changes, or incidental wear and tear.

 Products not manufactured by Masterpiece Cabinetry and Millwork may be covered by their original manufacturer's warranty, which will take precedence over Masterpiece Cabinetry and Millwork's warranty. Due to factors beyond Masterpiece Cabinetry and Millwork's control, identical replacement parts may not always be available. In such cases, Masterpiece Cabinetry and Millwork will not be responsible if replacement parts differ from those originally supplied.

Masterpiece Cabinetry and Millwork shall not be liable for any consequential, special, or indirect losses or damages. This limited warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent that any implied warranties may exist under law, they are limited to the duration provided by law.
